I had this machine for approximately a year. I loved it when I had it. The problem was that it was never meant to be used alot and therefore, it finally broke. Make sure to have it serviced a least every 4 months if you use it on a regular basis. The servicing is quite expensive for the amount that I paid for the machine.

Thanks for the heads up. As with most machines, you do get what you pay for. You might pay more up front, but you really need to weigh how much you are going to use your machine. Plus, any preventative service and maintenance that you are required to do will save you money in the long run. Thanks Sandi!

I agree with this commentary 100%. I purchased my machine, #1, because I was not sure if I would enjoy machine embroidery and #2, did not have a whole lot of money to invest. This is undoubtedly the most user friendly machine I have ever seen, to do all that it does. I have worked with this machine from mid summer till about a week before Christmas, working on Christmas projects and gifts, and it has yet to not do what I wanted, and then some. It is a great machine. Matter of fact, I have considered stepping up a notch and getting myself another machine, but why should I do that when I have a great, dependable machine that is a WORK HORSE? This machine does not know it is not top of the line. I have learned so much about machine embroidery since I have had this machine. What to do and what not to do in certain situations. I love it. Like I said, it does not know that it is not top of the line...it keeps on embroidering. Great machine.
